  • The two candidates in Colorado’s Third Congressional District race squared off in September at a debate hosted by Club 20. The candidates touched on a variety of issues from reproductive rights, water management, energy and public lands.
  • On today’s newscast we hear a statewide survey that asks voters to identify their priorities for candidates in the general election. With at least 20 water-related deaths in the state this summer, we hear tips on staying safe. Delta Montrose Electric Association is one of two Colorado utilities to receive millions of federal dollars to help its transition to renewable energy.
  • On today’s newscast we hear how ballots with queried signatures need to be addressed by July 3. A new report says the federal government needs to change its program for farmers in the Colorado River basin states due to the ongoing drought. And the need to have Pride events in rural Colorado.

We hear a report about two hotly contested primary elections in Colorado’s 4th and 8th congressional districts. Then, with large parts of Colorado under a heat advisory Monday and Tuesday, we’ll hear tips on staying safe in the heat.
