Downtown Paonia sparkles with creativity during Final Friday Frolics. The last Friday of each month, year-round, visit galleries, studios, boutiques and restaurants. Enjoy our tasty local food and wine, mingle with the community and find the perfect treasure to take home. You never know what you might find…wine tasting, farm-to-table dinners, live music, exhibition openings and more!

Common Ground Music & Arts Festival is a free three-day community celebration on August 28th-30th, bringing together music, art, culture, and creativity in the heart of Montrose. Hosted by LFMG Music Academy, the festival features live performances, local artists, vendors, food trucks, family-friendly activities, youth showcases, workshops, and community connection.

The event is designed to bring people from across Western Colorado together while supporting accessible creative arts programs for youth. Proceeds and community support help LFMG Music Academy continue providing free and low-cost music, production, podcasting, entrepreneurship, and creative workshops for young people in our region.

Join us for a weekend of good music, good people, and Common Ground.

Join the community every Saturday for open craft studio and snacks. Bring your own craft supplies or use what we have. Bring food to share or share food with others. FREE event but we do accept donations or tips.

Writing as Remedy workshops at Wellspring Vitality invite you into a supportive, creative space where storytelling becomes a tool for healing, reflection, and connection. Through friendly prompts and shared presence, we use words to process what’s been held, honor lived experience, and remember that we don’t heal alone. No writing experience needed, just a willingness to show up and explore.
