Paonia Water Users: Mandatory Water Restrictions Now in Effect

To help protect our shared water supply during the summer season, all Paonia water users must follow the authorized watering schedule below:

--> Watering Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
--> Watering Hours: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM only

Watering overnight helps reduce evaporation, keeps landscaping healthier, and helps ensure essential water use remains available for the whole community.

Calling all writers! The Harvest of Voices deadline is August 3rd at 5pm. Writers living on the Western Slope of Colorado are eligible to submit their original work to be featured at this year's annual event during Mountain Harvest Festival on September 24. Writing as Remedy workshops at Wellspring Vitality invite you into a supportive, creative space where storytelling becomes a tool for healing, reflection, and connection. Through friendly prompts and shared presence, we use words to process what’s been held, honor lived experience, and remember that we don’t heal alone. No writing experience needed, just a willingness to show up and explore.

All Fiber Artists are encouraged to enter their creations at the Delta County Fair. The new Fiber Arts Division will be held in Heritage Hall. No entry fees and premiums will be awarded. Entries will be accepted on Tues. August. 4 from 10 AM to 6 PM. Items will be released on Sunday from 8 AM - Noon. For more information check the Delta County Fair Website - Fiber Arts Division.
