Stop by the Blue Sage during the Paonia Holiday Art Fair to participate in A VERY SPECIAL holiday silent auction. Get great gifts for your loved ones while supporting the Blue Sage. All proceeds go directly towards the Blue Sage and their impactful work for the community.

Come enjoy hand carving a star block from EasyCut and then collaborating with your classmates to print a number of stars on pieces of pre-cut cotton to string onto colored cord and finish with a decorative button on each end. Perfect touch for the tree or over the door to welcome Holiday visitors. All supplies and tools provided.

About the Instructor:

Ouida is an artist and printmaker living in Delta, Colorado. Her work explores two passions: socially conscious narratives about bold women—mythical or from the American West—and the beauty of observed life, interpreted through a graphic, image-making lens. More than a printmaker or painter, she strives to create work that is remarkable and visually engaging. Ouida enjoys teaching printmaking and painting at colleges and community workshops, sharing her expertise in techniques ranging from woodcut and reduction printing to chine collé and monoprinting. She works from her well-lit studio in a turn-of-the-century bungalow, where she also cultivates a garden and creative space. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is represented by Mixx Atelier (Telluride, CO), Artful Home (Madison, WI), Tubac Art and Gifts Gallery (Tubac, AZ), Kalisher Art Publishing (Carrboro, NC), and MakeWest Art Publishing (Denver, CO). This class must meet the minimum enrollment by 5pm the night before class. If the minimum is met, registration will remain open until the class begins. Please check your email (and Spam folder) the day before/of class in case of unexpected cancellations.

Students are free, elementary age must be accompanied by an adult.

The band HARD PRESSED will be performing at the Blue Sage during the Paonia Holiday Art Fair in Downtown Paonia. They will be playing during the all day street fair from 3:00-5:00pm. Come on in and be entertained with some original and traditional OldTime, Americana-Folk music, off the front porch to you!

Are you looking for a way to give back in the community? The Abraham Connection Homeless Shelter in Delta opens for the season on November 1st. We are in need of volunteers to prepare and serve meals at the shelter. If you are interested in serving this season, please contact the shelter at 970-773-8290

At FREE Recovery Community, we’re breaking the silence of addiction. Whether you’re an addict, a loved one of an addict or a spiritual refugee, we’re here to walk this journey with you! Saturday night gatherings begin at 5 with a simple soup supper and inspiring live-streamed messages in a support setting where we don’t do shame! Please come for connection, healing and hope!

We will offer a weekly soup supper in conjunction with a FREE Recovery Community service in the Fellowship Hall. Please come by for soup and sides.
