Donations preferred on or before April 1st. Drop off at RE/MAX Mountain West at 225 Grand Ave. in Paonia or North Fork High School at 438 Bulldog St in Hotchkiss or call Carrie at 970-470-2667 for pick up.

Delta County Reads! Join the community for Delta County Reads! Delta County Libraries, the Paradise Theatre, and the Blue Sage Literary Committee present the books "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and "The Secret Garden: A Graphic Novel" by Mariah Marsden, and the 2020 film The Secret Garden for the 2024 Delta County Reads Program. Copies of the book are available at all five libraries in Delta County, and at checkout the reader will receive up to four tickets per book to attend a free showing of the film at the Paradise Theatre in May. The Paradise Theatre is hosting two showings of the film, Saturday May 4, and Sunday May 5. For showtimes, contact the Paradise Theatre at 970-527-6610 or visit paradiseofpaonia.com. This program is free to all Delta County residents.

Confluence: Writers, Water and Advocacy, a panel featuring award-winning western writers Paolo Bacigalupi, Heather Hansman, and Jonathan Thompson. These three well-loved authors will examine the current state of western watersheds, the urgency of creating awareness about water scarcity, and the role of storytelling in advocacy work.

The Rivershed on Screen will close out Rivershed weekend. It will include a short play, "Build It and They Will Come: Beavers on Farms". This will be followed by a mini-film-fest focused on water in the west, the value of our river, and local efforts to promote watershed health—with a special short film debut (featuring a local topic) that you won’t want to miss! The evening will conclude with a panel discussing the making of this film.
