Cedaredge Town Trustees

  • A Colorado man is facing possible bias-motivated charges for allegedly attacking a television news reporter, reports the Associated Press.
  • FEATURE: Vending machines selling ammunition will come to our region beginning this month. This, just before Las Vegas marks the 7th anniversary of the worst mass shooting in US history. The Mountain West News Bureau's Yvette Fernandez reports many in the city are still dealing with the trauma from that tragedy.
  • Delta County will be the focus of targeted DUI patrols this Friday through Saturday. The patrols, conducted by the Colorado State Patrol’s Statewide DUI team and Troop 5C, will monitor the area's major traffic arteries and feeder roads.
  • The Delta County Health Department received a report of a bat infected with rabies found near the public boat ramp off Highway 65, by the bridge and the Gunnison River last week. The health department has notified Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Cedaredge Board of Trustees recently approved an amendment to the town employee wage scale in a 4-2 vote, raising wages an annual $270,600. The Little Mesa Fire burning 15 miles west, southwest of Delta in the Dominguez Escalante National Conservation Area is now estimated at 4,000 acres.
